Klipriver Business Park

The Development has been designed to cater for warehousing / logistics / distribution nodes, etc. – in line with findings of market surveys undertaken. It will also form the Gateway to the Midvaal Industrial corridor.

LOCATION

Klipriver Business Park is being developed and sold by Basil Read. It is  located on the R59 freeway south of Johannesburg in an established node now set for further growth.  The Park will unlock growth on the R59 corridor, a pivotal spine between Johannesburg, Ekhurhuleni, Meyerton and the Vaal Triangle.  It is strategically positioned on the R59 and R550 interchange with a railway line adjacent to the development, running parallel to the R59 from Germiston through Meyerton to Vereeniging. The park has easy access to the N3 highway to Kwazulu Natal. Complimentary residential developments are within easy reach and include Blue Saddle Ranches, the Eye of Africa Lifestyle development and Basil Read’s soon to be commenced Savanna City Development which will provide 20,000 affordable housing units in a sustainable town. The Park is set to be in the next major growth node of Gauteng.

PHASING AND SIZE

Nampak, Everite, BSI Steel, Crystal Pack , Kwikspace and Heineken Sedibeng Brewery are major companies already established in this node.

Klipriver Business Park will be 143 hectares in extent with the first phase located in the south west quadrant being 51 hectares in extent. This phase will accommodate purchasers requiring sites from 3,000 m2  with a wide variety of combinations up to 7 hectares.

PARK CONCEPT

The construction of roads and installation of services for phase one are completed and the site has been proclamated. The park is developed to high standards and will enjoy access control  and perimeter security fencing and park management and maintenance of the common areas.
